Prospero Latino announces new team addition

October 25, 2016

Former Reid aide Julio Laínez joins team as Communications and Operations Manager

WASHINGTON, DC— ProsperoLatino recently hired Julio Laínez as the company’s new Communications and Operations Manager in charge of new business development and the international affairs portfolio. Laínez, a seasoned policy professional, worked 8 years in the office of U.S. Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid in several capacities, including the last two years a Legislative Aide for Foreign Policy.

“It is a great honor to welcome Julio to the ProsperoLatino team. Having worked together as part of the Reid family, I was impressed with his professionalism, insight, and dedication to serving the Latino community from day one,” said CEO José Dante Parra. “I am certain that he will thrive in his new role, strengthening our international affairs portfolio and as a key player growing our client base.”

“It is a privilege to work with Jose again, this time with his talented team at ProsperoLatino. Effectively connecting with Latinos is a consistent challenge for many political campaigns, companies, and advocacy groups, and this firm is second-to-none at bridging that gap. I look forward to adding my expertise from the Senate and the public sector to an operation that prides itself in doing thorough and meaningful work,” said Laínez.

Laínez has over 13 years experience in government and non-profits as a policy analyst, researcher, program director, systems administrator, and legislative aide. Prior to working in the U.S. Senate, he spent 5 years as a Program Analyst for the Council for Court Excellence, a court reform organization working to improve the administration of justice. Laínez received his bachelor's degree in Government and International Politics from George Mason University, and master's in Global Security Studies at Johns Hopkins University.
